20241220

I Thunderbird for managing all my email. Whenever I Archive a message it is removed from the remote mail server and stored locally into Maildir folders that I specify locally. Thunderbird does not fully support Maildir but reading around suggests it is reliable. The Maildir Archive folder is separately backed up off site. I can use the mu tool https://github.com/djcb/mu to search messages.
