46.14 Processing a LaTeX Document
Use rubber to convert a source LaTeX document into a pdf document:
$ rubber --pdf report
Rubber has, in the past, had problems with warnings produced by
PDFLaTeX, interpreting them as errors, and thus failing. A simple fix
is to edit the file
/usr/share/rubber/rubber/, in the definition of the
errors function, insert the following:
... for line in self.lines: if line[0:23] == "! pdfTeX warning (dest)": print "PDF WARN: " + line[25:], return 0 if line == "!": ...
