Once upon a time setting up a new printer for GNU/Linux was an adventure along a road pitted with pot holes and side tracks that often lead nowhere. Luckily, my latest experience (an Epson ET-1810) was pleasingly straightforward in comparison. I connected the printer to WiFi and my Ubuntu laptop listed it as an available printer. What could be simpler?
