20220402 The sed command can do this
easily. Here with -i
the file is changed in-place. The
sed command a
appends a string as a new line to
the line after the pattern specified, which in this case is a line
that only contains <HEAD>
.
sed -i '/^<HEAD>$/a This line added after the <HEAD>' myfile.html
